Excellent instruction on a TON of leglocks. If you want to improve your leg attack game this is the set to get. Gokor’s been doing leglocks forever and he knows all the nuances of how they work. I picked up so many small details that really upped my success on getting the tap. I’ve been submitting a lot of upper belts with my straight ankle locks and toeholds lately. Every time I get a tap I think “Thank you Gokor!” Lol.

Enough has been said about Gokor’s leglock knowledge and teaching ability. They’re top level. What really blew me away however was his teaching on leglock escapes. He shows what to do to escape early and then what to do if they really have the lock on deep. On the heel hook one for example, he shows a few different escapes but then says why there is really only one good (and safe) way to escape. I like training leg attacks but I worry about getting seriously injured. Now knowing the proper escapes I feel quite a bit safer. If you watch nothing else on this set, watch and re-watch the escapes section. Your legs will thank you for it!

This is probably one of the best investments I have ever made as far as instructional dvd’s go. I had a pretty decent base of leglocks, but this dvd provided me with options from EVERYWHERE. The escape dvd makes this set really worth it as well. I used one of his ankle lock escapes in a tournament after practicing it for about 2 weeks, so this stuff really works. 5 stars hands down.
