In the studies of social dynamics, relationships and the mating rituals, I can guarantee you, that rejection and the fear of it plays a very important part in our social system, from ages back. So the people, that are willing to go through rejection, the ones that are willing to hear no over and over and over again and yet can continue to push forward and get their ideas heard and not give up, these people get paid a lot of money, as they should.
